Most people in California are likely aware that their employers provide them with many benefits. The family members of three people are now likely working to address their grief after a recent crash of a medical helicopter. Reports indicate that the helicopter was needed to transport a patient from one hospital to another on a day in late January, and the crew was on their way to pick up the patient. Unfortunately, communication with the helicopter was lost at approximately 7:20 a.m.
Three hours later, authorities were able to locate the wreckage of the helicopter. They found debris in a remote area where there are only logging trails. The helicopter was broken apart. The three crew members, two nurses and the pilot, died in the crash.
