There are some jobs that are inherently dangerous. For example, soldiers and first responders are often expected to face situations that could potentially result in an injury. The incident that resulted in a 53-year-old man’s death reportedly happened on a day in mid-July. According to reports, workers were apparently attempting to move a refrigerator at Foster Farms. Unfortunately, the appliance reportedly fell on the man’s head as he attempted to help.
He was transported to the hospital but ultimately passed away as a result of injuries suffered in the incident. Family members, who say the man left behind a wife and daughter, expressed shock over the loss. Representatives for the company seemingly denied that the man was employed by Foster Farm, claiming that none of its employees were injured in the incident, but also reported that it is cooperating with investigations conducted by both local authorities and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
